New Baby

A couple of months ago my next door neighbour told me her son was going to have a baby daughter (well not him personally) so I decided I would knit a couple of things the first being a lovely blanket my mother made for her great granddaughter.

Then I knitted another blanket that I had made before unfortunately I can not find any photographic evidence for this one you'll just have to take my word for it.

I did however manage to find the pattern online so you'll just have to make do with that.
Blankets completed onto a little cardigan

and my neighbour asked if I could knit a bonnet. Well I haven't knit a bonnet for years but said I would give it a go.

This last item had my neighbour in tears and her daughter in law really loved them and said she couldn't wait to put them on her daughter.

Then I received this through the door

with a lovely little note inside.

Baby Anabel Sophia arrived safely two weeks ago.

Have completed more projects since but will tell you about them later.

  1. Such pretty knitted things. In the US people would go wild with joy.
I have been knitting elf hats for little people here --your patterns are so complex and wonderful.
