Projects update

I know I have been absent from blogging but I am seriously having problems with my computer (me thinks I need to save up for a new one). It is crashing and has caused me to loose unsaved posts, hopefully this one will get out there. Rant over on to the update, the quilt for my yet to be born (5 weeks and counting) grandson is almost finished I just need to get out my sewing machine for the border, the wadding and the back. However here is a sneak preview of it so far.

 

Not looking bad even if I say so myself.

 

I have a weeks holiday soon so will finish it off then but in the mean time I have started knitting a blanket well I say started and had it almost finished then pulled it out to change the design. I'm like that and after all it's my my grandson I'm knitting it for and he deserves the best. 

 

 

 



It's a simple stocking stitch blanket with a cute little boat now in every square unlike the pattern which has one in the centre of the first square then one on either end in the second square.

 

Anyway must go as I can hear my needles calling me in fact they are singing sea shanty's.
