My garden

The history of my moss grown lawn, after 24yrs of living under the shade of 3 extremely large Lelandii trees, 1 overly grown monkey puzzle, 1 overgrown sycamore tree and several overgrown bushes my newish neighbour asked if I would mind if he cut them down. Well after thinking it over for almost 1 nano second my reply YES. My lawn has hardly seen the sun in years and so has been covered in moss. This was the view from my back door pre pruning taken Jan 2011 and this is the view from my back door taken tonight.

What a difference .
Well we needed to do something drastic to the lawn so two weeks ago we put some weed, feed and moss killer down and after two weeks we were able to rake it. So after some raking this afternoon I managed to almost complete it 4 bags of moss later it looks like this.

Now I know it looks a bit bald at the moment but you'll just have to come back if you want to see if it full recovers.
While taking these photographs tonight I thought I might share some of my favourite flowers,

Bluebells they have been here ever since we moved in 24yrs ago and they keep multiplying they are wonderful, I also have a few that are white and they too are amazing they are so cheerful. My last pic is of a plant I bought and the variety is called little Miss Sophie now considering my daughter is called Sophie I just had to have it.

Now all I need is a plant with a variety called Abigail anyone know of one.
