Project update

I thought I would update you on my project it is coming along nicely I managed to get all the pieces cut and tacked together.

Well I wasn't going to show you all 129.

I did stumble on a problem my finger was getting sore so I thought I needed one of these.

Or maybe one of these

Don't tell anyone but yes I am a secret thimble collector and here comes another problem which one to choose. Believe it or not I spent a happy time deciding  you see each one has a little story/memory attached and I got carried away in memory mode. I did however choose one in the end, and it's a tribute to my sis and fellow blogger who bought it for me on a barging holiday. It is in the top thimble rack second shelf down second from the right, it came from  East Marston circa late 1970's early 1980's remember it sis?.
Anyway on with the progress the thimble has helped me speed along.

One cube down lots more to come.

And there you are a sneak preview of how they are supposed to look I'm really chuffed as we say here of how  it's all coming together. I will keep you all posted on the progress.

  1. I love your thimble collection, Paula. I have a few from the days I used to do crewel embroidery as a hobby.

Your geometric design is fabulous! I can't wait to see the final product.
