Do I Do It ?

When I went for my swim the other day I  noticed a pamphlet at the window, being a nosey beggar I picked it up and started to read it. To mark the Olympic Torch  Relay reaching my city the Council are planning a day long 2012 celebratory event we are promised there will be something for everyone including A WORLD HULA HOOPING RECORD ATTEMPT.The current world record stands at 2,492 people hula hooping for 2 mins. Sunderland are aiming to have 3,000 people hula hooping for 2 mins.
Now the question is do I register?  bearing in mind I have not hula hooped for years, the hips are creaky and don't move as well as they used to,

but apparently I don't have to worry because practice sessions will be available and Hula Hoops can be provided on the day however if you have your own please bring it with you.  On the day of the record attempt there is a practice session from 9.00am -10.15am  then the Olympic Torch visits and at 11.30am the attempt at the world record.
If  I practice hard enough do you think I will look like this:

I have until the end of the month to register and it is fast approaching what shall I do.

  1. I think you should register. You'll be fab at it, as long as you try not to laugh. Although, it's a shame it's not pogo sticking - I seem to remember you were ace at that too!
