An old and new weekend part 1

I have had a lovely weekend a mixture of old and new, it started Friday night with my oldest and dearest friend. I have known her for 47 years she has lived in London for a lot of years but comes to the north east regularly to visit her parents. We do not see each other every week we do not always text or ring but we both know we are there for each other no matter what time day or night.

The night started with a

 

 

and a bottle.

 

 

We ate drank and talked for a good few hours before our ages showed and we just had to have.

 

 

 

 

 

 



 

It's not often friends like these come along but when they do we should cherish them I know I do. Which got me thinking of another saying

 

Make new friends

But keep the old

The new are silver

The old are GOLD.
