Part 2 has been a long coming but here it is, after a very good Friday night with my oldest friend Saturday morning arrived with the normal family coffee morning. We picked up eldest daughter and grandson then my dear friend and headed for our favourite coffee shop Cafe Rocco. It was quite a gathering my eldest sister, my youngest daughter and her partner and my hubby to say we took over the place is an understatement. I then had a thought and rang my mother and told her I had a surprise waiting for her so she immediately hot tailed it round. My mother presumed I had meant her great grandson was there but she was not expecting my friend, whenever she says her name she always follows it with "she's a lovely girl".
We spent a good hour or two chatting, laughing and eating well what a pleasant way to start the day. After we got home my daughter asked if we would have my grandson (my little ray of sunshine) overnight well come on I am a newly besotted Gran I am not going to refuse so my night was set with lots of cuddles, smiles, gurgles and feeds. I WAS IN 7th HEAVEN.
An early start to Sunday morning but I didn't mind more cuddles a feed then back to sleep for an hour then a lovely walk even if it was windy back home more cuddles and feeds what BLISS a truly lovely weekend.
