Bannatyne Spa Day

For mothers day last year I received a spa day from my daughters, this has taken a while to co-ordinate but we eventually set off last Thursday in my little Jazz.

I can hear you say how clean my car is but I have to admit this is not my car, mine has lots of rubbish in it. I was having a little problem driving as I have pulled a muscle in my chest so I steered and used 1st to 4th gear my daughter used 5th and reverse.
We went to the Darlington Spa which is about 35mins away unfortunately you can not take photo's inside so you'll just have to put up with images from their website. We got booked in and were asked if we wanted to hire robes and slipper hello this is a pamper day of course we do. After a quick cuppa and a tour we headed to the changing rooms, now getting into some kind of swim wear with a pulled muscle is tricky. After struggling with the top of my two piece swimwear I needed help (that's why the girls are there) time for a quick lie down in the relaxation room before my treatment. This room was my favourite it had the most comfy water beds unfortunately I couldn't get off without assistance.

Time for my massage this has to be one of my favourite things I could lie there for hours and they can do what they want. I had a back neck and shoulder massage finished of with a head massage what can I say I felt like a bar of melted chocolate. Time for lunch everyone was eating healthily salads etc but not us well we were not there to burn off calories so we piled them on instead.
After lunch a quick dodge in the steam room and the hot tub followed by a lovely shower then back to the relaxation room while the girls had their treatments. A good relaxing day was had by all I think I was born to pampered.
