Knitting update

My needles have been really busy lately I'm surprised that sparks have not been coming from them. My niece is having a baby in May and It's a boy so I decided to knit a little parcel so far I have made 3 pram blankets.

This is a nice basket weave design

The  next two are ones I have done before but I am going to show you them again.

The next one is knit with 4ply so is a nice summer blanket.

I am also going to make a few little cardigans for him, now I know everything is white and I know that it is going to be a boy but I happen to like little babies whatever there sex in white. I started the first cardigan when a colleague at work wanted a snood knitting well I have not knit a snood since my girls were knee high to a grasshopper as they say. Well where do I get a pattern from well from  ravelry.com of course,  free pattern downloaded wool bought a nice thick warm aran wool. Hey presto snood done in no time colleague happy says it keeps her head nice and toasty. What I forgot to do was take a photograph but never fear another colleague wants the same one.

As this is knit in UK 5mm needles it does knit up fast. Well I can't stay and ramble on for long my needles are calling me.
