Yesterday was a lovely spring day and I should have been at work but fortunately or unfortunately I am on the sick. My sis called in for a cup of tea and we sat outside in the sunshine, I was looking at the garden and my fruit trees which are quite old and the bark on them is all gnarled and I thought they would make nice photo's.
Don't you just want to run your hands over it and in life you have to take the rough
with the smooth.
Some have catkins that blow gently in the breeze or shimmer when the sun hits them.
Others cast shadows against the fence.
Some just like to reach the clouds.
Then we have the wonderful colour of the first flowers and yes they did survive being frozen.
Not forgetting the wonderful snowdrops.
All in all a nice way to have a cuppa.
I agree, Not too shabby a way to share a cuppa!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely a "tree" person! I love the ones you showed, and those gorgeous snow drops!
