Well it was time for another Golden afternoon, but first I had to go for a little swim
(part of new new get fit programme) well I managed 66 (25m) lengths.
After a swim there was a quick dash to the supermarket
to get supplies for the afternoon a very nice bottle of sparkly Rose. Got back home feeling energetic (not) and just had time to prepare some salad before taxi (friends husband) arrived. Another laughter filled afternoon putting the world to rights 1 friend is seriously dieting and has managed to loose 2 stone so Rose decided we should be now called the Spice Girls Dorothy (me) is now sporty spice, Blanche who is dieting is now sexy spice and because Rose couldn't think what else to call herself became old spice.
Well we managed to eat some very nice food and drink 3 bottles of wine only trouble was we couldn't remember the names so we just said they were white rose and another white. Taxi arrived (friends hubby again) to take us home, apparently he really enjoys the slurred and sometimes meaningless conversations.
Here's to the next Golden Spice Girls afternoon.
