A Quilt For Baby

After receiving the news that i was going to be a Gran in Nov I just had to go shopping for some material to make another quilt. By this time my daughter knew the sex of her child so I knew just what to buy but I will keep you in suspense for a little while longer. I was way excited to get started so I started drawing the shapes

 This time I had a brainwave instead of drawing all the shapes why not photocopy them now why didn't I think of that the last time. Shapes all done then came the task of cutting them all out . That completed now came the task of cutting out the material would you like to see what I chose.

For the patches I have chosen to use



A pale blue spotty.

A white with little stars on.

And a pale blue which I will also use for the border.

And for the back I am going to use

A blue and white stripy.

Have you guessed I am having a Grandson.

I have all the material tacked onto the shapes and am now sewing them together I will keep you all up to date with the progress.
