You may remember I started a new hobby /project crocheting and I am a complete novice at this. I did fancy having a go at making a ripple blanket so I raided my left over wool then raided my mum's left over wool, it was all pastel colours as we had both been busy knitting for babies. So I organised the colours and set too and I have to admit I was quite pleased with the way things were going. It has taken a while as it has been manic at work these last few weeks but I have finally got it finished.
Now I know there may be mistakes.
And the colours not to everyones taste but I like it.
Now I had a dilemma because what do I do with this little blanket do I :
A Take it to work for the children to play with or
B KEEP IT BECAUSE MY DAUGHTER HAS ANNOUNCED SHE IS GOING TO HAVE OUR FIRST GRANDCHILD IN NOVEMBER.
I don't think there is any contest do you.
No contest at all, this time next year she/he will be sitting on it in the garden!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the impending birth of your first grandchild, Paula! The balnket you made is very pretty and will be a welcomed gift for the baby.
ReplyDeleteThank you Pat I am very excited and of course my hands will be very busy.
