I was very impressed with this attempt, and this from a girl (well it's my blog and if I want to call myself a girl I can) who hadn't picked up a crochet hook before.

I have completed 1 simple project but it is on loan at the moment I made some red/white/blue bunting for our Gem of an Afternoon. My friend proudly displayed it along her mantle shelf, sadly I forgot to take a photograph but will get one soon I promise. My next project you will have to wait for but I can say I am proud of the attempt and hopefully it will be finished soon. Well I must go now as I have a project to get on with.
